From the CIA to children's books…

After nearly a decade of writing for top U.S. policymakers as a CIA intelligence officer, John decided to channel his passion and efforts to a more important audience, children. Upon leaving the Agency, John and his wife, a former designer at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, felt there was a need for children’s books that could address today’s struggles and help children have the knowledge and strength to build a better tomorrow.
